Two adjustable-length lead straps, each measuring 1 foot at their shortest and 2 feet when fully extended, allow for extra range control while on the go.
Super tough bolt snap swivel clips at the end of both straps securely connect the Lead Splitter to any collar or harness.

For the Lone Wolf
Rowdy Walkers: Connect one clip to each of the back anchors of your dog’s harness for more control.
Pullers: Connect one clip to the front anchor of your dog’s harness and the other to the back anchor(s) to distribute weight more evenly and redirect your dog when they start pulling on the lead. (Very helpful for loose leash training!)
Escape Artists: You can connect one clip to your dog’s harness and the other to their collar for extra protection against breakouts.
✦ It’s important to your dog’s safety that their apparel is properly fitted. If your dog slips out of their collar or harness frequently, you may need to tighten the straps or size down altogether.
Lead Extension: Clip both Lead Splitter clips to the same anchor on your dog’s harness or collar to give your lead an extra 1-2 feet in length.
Hands-Free Walking: First, connect both Lead Splitter clips to the anchor on your lead and adjust the straps to make a large loop. Then, place the loop over your shoulder like a crossbody bag or around your waist like a belt, and tighten the straps to your comfort. Finally, connect the lead clip to your dog’s collar or harness like normal.
For the Doggy Duos
✦ While using the Leash Splitter can make walking a pair of pups more manageable, we only recommend this method with two dogs who have been individually leash-trained and are comfortable and relaxed around one another. Walking two dogs with drastically different temperaments or behavior patterns can lead to a pretty dysfunctional (and sometimes even dangerous) walk.
Standard Method: Connect both of the Lead Splitter clips to your dogs’ collars or harnesses. Adjust the strap length to allow your dogs a complete and comfortable range of motion.
Hands-Free Walking: You’ll need two Lead Splitters for this one.
Take the first Lead Splitter and connect both clips to the anchor on your lead. Adjust the straps to make a large loop, then place the loop over your shoulder like a crossbody bag or around your waist like a belt. Tighten the straps to your comfort. Next, attach the lead clip to the anchor on the second Lead Splitter. Finally, connect both of the Lead Splitter clips to your dogs’ collars or harnesses like normal.
